A LEGEND FROM THE CLIFF IS MOVING INTO OUR GYM On the 24th of September, Westway welcomes the Beal Heritage Tour! To celebrate 50 years since its first dynamic rope, Beal is bringing La Boule back to life — the legendary route at Sainte-Victoire freed by Patrick Edlinger in 1984 and considered one of the first 8a+ in history. Thanks to a scan taken directly on the cliff, its holds have been reproduced identically on our walls! Two routes will be available: the original 8a+ version, faithful to La Boule, and a more accessible 6a+ version. Enjoy plenty of activities, try out Beal products, and get an exclusive first look at the limited-edition collection of t-shirts and chalk bags created with 5 artists.
